To Clean the Speculum:

1. Insert the speculum into the top of the S.Q.R.U.B., small end first.
2. Move speculum up and down several times.
3. Remove speculum (additional measures are required to sterilize).

To Clean the S.Q.R.U.B.:

1. Empty the cleaning solution.
2. Remove the top cap and the base.
3. Remove the brush cartridge.
4. Remove the middle brush from the cartridge and use it to clean the components.

Note: This is a unique feature of the S.Q.R.U.B., please take advantage of it! Assemble the S.Q.R.U.B. and fill it ¾ full with disinfectant.

*Avoid using the S.Q.R.U.B. when a specula has copious amounts of sebum or large amounts of infectious discharge are apparent.

**It is a good idea to change your brush cartridge annually. It brings your S.Q.R.U.B. to original condition at a minimal price!
